Indian Navy Recruitment 2016 Apply Offline for 219 Vacant Posts under Eastern Naval Command: The Indian Navy has released a notification about recruitment of various vacant posts in January 2016. The Recruitment Department of Indian Navy invites young and eligible candidates for various posts like Civilian Motor Driver, Fireman Grade II, Cook, Barber (MTS), Dhobi, Bootmaker/Equipment Repair, Tailor and many more. The interested candidates can apply through Offline Application method by sending the Prescribed Application Form to the Indian Navy address before 27th February 2016. The candidates are requested to send the Application Form to Indian Navy (Eastern Naval Command) within the given time limit as the applications submitted/received after the Last Date will NOT be accepted.

Age Limit:
The Age Limit of the candidate should be as under:
From 18 Years to 25 Years for Cook, Civilian Motor Driver, Barber (MTS), Bootmaker/Equipment Repair, Fireman Grade II and Telephone Operator Grade II.
From 18 Years to 30 Years for Tailor (Upholster) and Hostel Superintendent.
From 18 Years to 40 Years for Dhobi (MTS).
From 21 Years to 30 Years for Fire Engine Driver.
From 18 Years to 45 Years for Nurse/Civilian Sister.
Age Relaxation will be applicable as per government rules for Reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed Matriculation or it's equivalent.
In addition the candidate should have proficiency knowledge of relevant job (i.e. Dhobi/Barber/Cook etc.)

Selection Procedure:
The candidate will be appointed through written test, practical/skill test and personal interview.
Pay Scale:
Nurse/Civilian Sister: From Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- per month.
All Other Posts: From Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/1900/2000/2800/- per month (Grade Pay varies according to posts).
