GPSC Recruitment November 2016 for Lecturer Class I II and Medical Officer Posts: The Gujarat Public Service Commission has just released a notification for recruitment of 1303 vacancies of various posts on its official website at www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. The Gujarat Public Service Commission is inviting online applications for the posts of Medical Officer, Lecturer Class I and Lecturer Class II in November 2016. The interested and eligible candidates can apply online for GPSC Recruitment 2016 on official portal at www.ojas.guj.nic.in. The candidates can apply for Medical Officer and Lecturer Class I II Posts till 26.11.2016.
Vacancy details:
Medical Officer: 1263 Posts
Lecturer Class II (Gujarat Nursing Service): 28 Posts
Lecturer Senior Scale Class I (Gujarat Nursing Service): 12 Posts
Age Limit: (As on 26.11.2016)
Medical Officer: The age must not exceed 35 years.
Lecturer Class II (Gujarat Nursing Service): The age must not be more than 35 years.
Lecturer Senior Scale Class I (Gujarat Nursing Service): The age must be under 40 years.
Relaxation in Upper Age will be applicable as per Government Rules.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed MBBS from an MCI (Medical Council of India) recognized institute for Medical Officer post.
The candidate must have passed five years' post graduation course in Nursing under Indian Nursing Council and minimum 3 to 5 years experience of teaching of Nursing at School or Training Organization for Lecturer Class II (Gujarat Nursing Service).
The candidate must have passed post graduation course in Nursing under Indian Nursing Council and minimum 8 years experience of teaching of Nursing out of which 5 years' experience must be at Nursing School or Training Organization for Lecturer Senior Scale Class I (Gujarat Nursing Service).
In addition the candidate applying for Lecturer Class I II posts, must have knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi language.
Application Fee:
Rs.100/- as Application Fee for Unreserved candidates. The Reserved category and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from fees.
Pay Scale:
Medical Officer: The candidate will be paid Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- per month.
Lecturer Class II (Gujarat Nursing Service): The candidate will be paid Rs.9300/- to Rs.24800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- per month.
Lecturer Senior Scale Class I (Gujarat Nursing Service): The candidate will be paid Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- per month.
Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected through face to face interview. The Gujarat Public Service Commission may organize Written/Basic Test for as primary selection process. Then the candidates will be called up for Personal Interview.

How to Apply for GPSC Recruitment November 2016 :
- Open the official website at www.ojas.guj.nic.in.
- Find out Apply Online tab and click on it.
- Navigate to the post you want to apply for i.e. Medical Officer, Lecturer Class I, Lecturer Class II.
- Click on Apply Now to proceed to online application.
- Fill up the online application with correct details.
- Save your Application.
- Upload image of your passport size photo and signature.
- Confirm your application and save your Confirmation Number.
- Print the Challan for Fees.
- Make payment of fees as per instructions.
- Take printout of Application.
- Attach required documents and certificates.
- Send the Application with Attachments and fee receipt to the Commission.
